Dear Lavi Yachad Families and Friends, 

It is hard to believe that Lavi Yachad’s camper program is already over. We have had such an amazing time spending our summer with your children. Your children are an essential part of Lavi! Thank you for helping us create an atmosphere of inclusion in camp this summer! In Lavi this summer, your children were able to enjoy bungee jumping, dune buggies, sports, swimming, arts and crafts, baking, and so much more, all while being in inclusive settings. It has been amazing to watch all of the campers create relationships, grow, and accomplish so much throughout the summer, all while having a great time.

Thank you to ALL of our amazing counselors who worked day and night to create the best summer for all of our participants. A special thank you to our head counselors; Shira Wolff and Jonathan Gardner for their leadership and commitment to the program. It is our staff that provides the enthusiasm and constant support for each individual. And of course, thank you to all of our campers for bringing their unique qualities and personalities to our bunks. Each member of the Lavi Yachad 2017 family brought something special to camp this summer. 

We hope you enjoyed the albums of pictures throughout the summer! Please look back at the pictures with your children as they tell you about camp. This will help them remember all the great times we’ve had and they can show you all the new friends! The many friendships built were quite obvious as crowds of Lavi campers came to our goodbye party and joined us for some circle time games! All of our campers are now either home or settling into their new camps and Lavi is just not the same without them.

Camp is so empty without your children here! We already miss them so much!
