Dear Morasha Yachad Families,
We’re off to a great start! Everyone unpacked, settled in and enjoyed an exciting first week of camp. We were greeted by a LIPA concert on opening night, we learned interesting facts about each other while playing human bingo and we dressed up and danced together at an exciting Purim in July program. Our vocational members had an informative and fun orientation day, received their schedules and began their work.
Please enjoy some pictures from this past week: https://www.yachad.org/camper-morasha/gallery/809950942453710/day-1-3/
Please enjoy some quotes that our campers and vocational members wrote during a blogging activity:
The opening ceremony was so much fun. In the brand new Mercazia, we enjoyed singing, dancing, glow sticks, and a concert led by Lipa Schmeltzer and it was all so much fun. As Zev Daimond put it, “I did not expect Lipa to be there and it was EPIC.” We heard from all the different division heads and saw awesome pictures from last year. Even though it began to pour during and after the opening ceremony, we all had a blast on the first night of Morasha 2015 and can’t wait for more!

After playing very intense game of lineup with Yachad boys bunk, we hiked up the hill to the israelis to shoot some targets with paintball guns. Once at the top of the hill, we went around the group introducing ourselves to the head Israeli, Ariel in Hebrew. We got into 2 groups and headed to the paintball range. Each person took 3 shots at the target, and most of us hit the targets! Then the commander taught us 3 different stands; standing, kneeling and lying down. Then after that we finished up all of the paint balls that were left and then we headed down to the lake for another great time. A FUN TIME WAS HAD BY ALL!
