Welcome to Kesher! We are glad we have new friends here,
We’ll get to know each other, sing, dance, and cheer.
We said good-bye to our counselors and friends,
We didn’t want Trip I to end!
We hope we will all stay in touch,
As we’ll miss each other very much!
Tuesday was our very first day,
New counselors came while the old went away.
It was challenging with the switchover and rain,
But now we’re ready for a summer where everyone will gain.
Sushi on a Roll rolled right in,
Making our own Sushi is surely a win!
The 9 days-we cannot swim in the pool,
But we had visitors come instead, which is just as cool!
Camp Puppa set up a carnival so fun,
We enjoyed it even though there was not much sun!
Camp Rena from Raninu-we danced, and painted
Sang, colored, and face decorated.
Camp Belz with a carnival that couldn’t be beat,
With a show, booths, prizes, and treats to eat.
Camp Na’aleh with a carnival came too,
The programs kept us busy and insured we weren’t blue!
Musical chairs-around we all did go,
As from the speakers the music did flow.
Pictionary-let’s see which divisions can draw,
They were the cutest pictures that you ever saw!
Many divisions got to bake,
Cookies, muffins, brownies, and cupcakes.
We measured, mixed cleaned up, and ate,
To do it again we cannot wait!
Sternberg joined campus to play,
It’s something they’ll try to do every day.
Campus and Pioneers played Red Rover,
With lots of laughs as everyone tried to cross over.
Heller Plus together with Leshma workshops,
Will meet daily for fun that won’t stop,
Sports and baking are some of the things they’ll do,
And of course make a new friend or two.
Even though it was rainy and damp,
Junior Staff participated in a scavenger hunt around camp.
They also had aerobics to help keep them fit,
Cuz it’s not good just to sit and sit!
Finding out about each other as they wrote down their names,
Job Training enjoyed a Signature Bingo Game.
Two teams for a game of machanayim they had,
Their smiles showed that everyone was glad.
To out new counselors-we welcome each of you,
We think you’ll be great-it’s really true.
You will work hard, have fun, and grow,
Good Midos and positivity we’re sure you’ll show.
We are looking forward to Kesher 2017 Trip II,
And getting to know each one of you!
