Girls Bunk G-‐4 Update!
We didn’t think we could top off the first
week at Camp Nesher but we did!!! The second week brought so much fun and excitement and the girls
continued to make their mark in camp! Early in the week, we had an amazing trip to the Binghamton
zoo! We saw many animals and everyone had such a blast! The
rest of the week was just as fun, as we did all kinds of activities including dance, softball, and
jewelry making! Despite some rainy days we made the best of it and finished off the week strong!
Boys Bunk B-‐11 Update!!
We just had the most incredible second week
of camp. It started off with a unforgettable trip to the Binghamton Zoo where we saw a variety of
animals including bears, red pandas, and leopards, fed goats out of our hands, and road around and
around on a carousel. The week continued with a variety of sports in camp including tennis, hockey, soccer, and
basketball, highlighted by an intense BOYS vs. GIRLS kickball game. To end off our second week here
at camp, we had a joyous time dancing and partaking in a magic show as part of Yom Nate B’Yachad!!
Highlight of the week:
On Monday night, the entire camp gathered at the tennis courts for a surprise event! We all stood
and watched a monster truck show. A HUGE truck ran over two cars that had the words “color war” written on their
sides. We thought it was going to be color war breakout but it turned out to be a fake out! After
that, we enjoyed watching all of our friends in the camp play. At the very end of the play, the
curtain closed and reopened with the cast members wearing t-‐shirts of the Nesher colors, blue and
yellow. It was finally the real color war breakout! We are so excited to continue for the next few days on our color war teams!!
