We have completed our first full week of camp! While it has only been a week both staff and campers have become so close and done so many amazing things. Here is a short recap of week one.

We hit the ground running last Thursday by jumping into a regular schedule which had campers doing activities including ropes, ceramics, swimming, cooking, and some fun experiments in our mad lab pavilion. The girls had the amazing opportunity to go night swimming with the Eidah Alef girls while the boys joined in a dance party with the Eidah Alef boys. Friday we continued with our regular schedule until it was time to prepare for Shabbat. All of us loved having the chance to welcome in Shabbat with singing and spending time with our new Camp Nesher friends. Shabbat morning we went to Shul, played board games, had the chance to invite our Eidah Alef friends to play a getting to know you game, have a Shabbos party welcoming in all of Camp Nesher to join, and so much more! After Shabbos left with a beautiful Havdalah, there was a special dress up melava malka with pizza, ice cream, and dancing!

Sunday after a great day of activities the boys spent night activity preparing for the upcoming Purim in August by creating mishloach manot bags and packages for camp. While the boys were hard at work the girls were enjoying spa night with the Eidah Alef girls. Monday being Purim in July we had a chance to dress up and have a costume fashion show/dance party which helped get us excited for the special magician that came to camp for a full camp magic show!

Tuesday the excitement continued with the boys going on an outing to the pizza store for make your own pizza with B4 (the girls will be doing the same soon). Last but certainly not least Wednesday was camp wide trip day! We went to Carousel Park with another division in camp. Everyone enjoyed go carts, water slides, mini golf, bumper boats and ice cream!
