Dear Morasha Yachad Families and Friends,
In addition to all our exciting regular-schedule activities here in camp, this week, the second week of camp, we had several stand out night activities and camp-wide programs that were so much fun. We started off the week playing an ice breaker night activity called human bingo where we learned a lot about each other while having an awesome time. Monday night boys and girls campus split up; Boys played soccer and joined another division for trivia games while girls campus had a mini-color war called It’s About Time that was filled with contests, competitions, and great activities! On Tuesday, the fourth of July, after another amazing day of activities (horse-back riding, archery, arts and crafts, street art, sports etc.) we had a large boys vs girls kickball game followed by a huge fireworks show. On Wednesday, we celebrated Purim in July and enjoyed a lively Purim chagigah filled with dancing. During the day, the vocational programs at Mesorah and Lavi joined our vocational program for the first “voc trip” of the summer – we played volleyball and frisbee, and ate smores together. After night activity was over, we had our first night mishmar program filled with Torah, singing and yummy food (thank you to the Lerners for sponsoring Sushi!). Thursday was trip day! Together with all of our friends in Morasha, we spent the day at Dorney Park where we went on rides, played games, and watched shows – it was so much fun! After enjoying another fantastic week in camp, we excitedly look forward to ushering in another relaxing Shabbos B’Yachad.
Have a great Shabbos!
Congratulations to this week’s vocational workers of the week!
