Mordy Blau is from Cleveland, Ohio and attended Yeshivat HaKotel for 2 years. Mordy graduated from Yeshiva University with a bachelors degree in psychology and received his Masters in Social Work from Wurzweiler with a focus in school social work. He is currently in his second year of Semicha at RIETS/YU. This year, Mordy was the teen coordinator at The Jewish Center in the Upper West Side of New York and the social work intern at SINAI high school in TABC. In high school, Mordy volunteered for The Friendship Circle every Sunday. Mordy has been an advisor at Camp Stone, Camp Kaylie, Yad B’ Yad and Jolt Israel. Last summer Mordy was the Boys Head Counselor at Nesher Yachad and will be the assistant program director of Yad B’ Yad this summer. Mordy is looking forward to an amazing summer!
