Meaningful Friendships
On YBY, participants can be sure to create meaningful friendships as they bond while touring the land of Israel. Some come knowing people from home, but many participants come on their own. On YBY, you have the opportunity to meet many new people, all with unique backgrounds, experiences, and from a variety of places. YBY participants continue to be in touch over the coming years after the trip by creating reunions and continuing their involvement in Yachad.
Have Lots of Fun!
Participants get to enjoy all that Israel has to offer. Whether it be rafting down the Jordan River, making your own chocolate at the chocolate factory or enjoying a spirited concert, Yad B’Yad has fun covered!
Tour Israel through a New Lens
Traveling around Israel through the lens of leadership and inclusion, helps teens develop a new level of love, respect and appreciation for the land of Israel and their fellow peers.
Your Yachad Family
The Yad B’Yad Israel Experience does not end after the summer. Throughout the year there are YBY reunions and various Yachad programing internationally for our participants to continue their involvement. Continuing your involvement in Yachad in the future helps keep in touch with the friends from the summer as well as continuing the leadership and inclusive ideas that were instilled over the summer.
Jam-packed Itinerary
Yad B’Yad participants have the opportunity to tour the entire land of Israel, take part in enriching learning programs and have meaningful volunteer experiences around Israel. Each day is filled with various activities, adventures and endless fun!
The Programming and Leadership Experience
In just five weeks, each participant will have various opportunities to show their strengths, whether that be leading the group in a song or cheer or stepping up at volunteer site. Each program on Yad B’Yad is planned with various opportunities for leadership experiences and growth for each participant.
