Friday was an awesome day. First, we went to Yad Vashem and had a moving experience as we learned about the history of the Holocaust and the Antisemitism leading up to it. We went through many exhibits showing all the hate that was thrown at the Jewish people and all of what they went through.
Next, we lifted the mood and went to Ben Yehuda!! It was so much fun walking around with my friends, buying presents for my family, and seeing other people from other programs and introducing them to my new friends from Yad B’Yad.
Friday night was our last Friday night circle time of the summer. Although it was sad, we all wanted to make it count and brought so much energy!!! The usual songs and games were even more fun than usual with the extra energy from everyone. Overall, Friday was an amazing day!!
