Hello Friends!!!!!!!!!!! My name is Chani Aryeh and I am SUPER pumped to spend the summer on Yad B’Yad with all of you guys!!!! I am originally from Woodmere NY, but I made Aliyah this past December and I now have the most incredible opportunity of living in ירושלים עיר הקודש! In high school I spent most of my time doing anything other then class… ??‍♀️? So I am Baruch Hashem, a VERY PROUD graduate of SKA High School for Girls! 🙂 I then moved on from there to MMY, where I’ve been learning for the past two years! I went on YBY in 2015, worked in Morasha Yachad for two summers, and did Yachad Getaway this past summer, but I have NO DOUBT that this year’s Yad B’Yad will top that all!!!! My favorite sport is hockey (even though I haven’t played for three years), I awkwardly miss chewing on ice, cuz there’s apparently an ice cube shortage in this country, I LOOOVVEEE to bake, and I definitely do not have a favorite color, they’re all just good for different things!!! I love to sing, and confidently pretend to know all the words, even though I know that is definitely not the case… I have an addiction to putting exclamation points after every sentence! And sometimes people think I’m yelling at them because of that..! Lol—whoopsss! I was one time pushed in a wheelchair through the 10K Jerusalem marathon (by my awesome brother Eytan) because I tore my ACL and both of my Meniscuses. (Such a move by the way! It was A TON of fun!!! Lol). Anyways, I’m extremely excited for the summer, and I can’t wait to learn from and grow with each and every one of you!
