WHAT UP YBY 2019!!!!!! Idk if you can tell but I’m pumped for this summer!! My name is Kyra Fischer and I’m from Denver, Colorado (reppin the outta towners). I went to a school called DAT from K-12th grade and last year spent an incredible and uplifting time in Midreshet Harova, in the best place possible- the old city of Jerusalem! This year I am a Freshman at Brandeis University which is in a cute town called Waltham (it’s close to Boston) where I’m studying Biology and Studio Art. I went on YBY Trip 1 in 2015 and completely fell in love with Yachad and since then I’ve worked for Yachad in Camp Lavi, Camp Nesher, and Yachad Getaway over the course of the past 3 summers. There are things you should know about me before we hangout this summer: 1. I have a habit of messing up and making new catch phrases all the time so watch out for those 2. I have the strangest food combinations- have you ever tried cottage cheese with coleslaw? DO IT cause its delicious!! 3. I love playing sports so I’m excited for our spontaneous games! 4. I mess up every song lyric, and you can test me on that this summer 5. Inclusion is just the way to go 6. I absolutely love using exclamation points and overuse them all the time!!
